this is my sandbox
This is where I play with ideas, build no-code fun side-projects and more. This page is always a work-in-progress. One day you might see 20 components on here, the next day it could be just five. My sandbox is always changing, always evolving.
My love for food is no secret, and it often spills over into my professional life in the form of fun side business ideas. BoxMyNoms is one such project. I love exploring grocery store aisles to find fun snacks from around the world. BoxMyNoms is that, but for other foodies like me who would like to buy such snacks from the comforts of their home.
I am a planner at heart, and nothing comes close to the satisfaction of planning trip itineraries for me. But not everyone enjoys the process. For individuals seeking a customized trip itinerary, Roadtrip AI is a great solution. You just enter your starting point and destination, discuss your interests, and voilà! You'll have Google Maps API + LLM integration that picks out spots for you and gives you directions for each.
Digital Ad Concepts
Some ad concepts for the education marketing industry.
A Torn Newspaper Static Ad Concept
This was done for Vancouver Career College's ad campaigns. The idea is to give viewers a "Job ad" feel and to invoke the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO). I strongly believe that the use of numbers attracts the reader's attention. This ad triggers a sense of urgency by giving hope to job-seekers.
While coming up with the design and copy of this ad, I wanted to use the concept of "abundance heuristics", where people are motivated to aim for those jobs.
Their next action? Applying to Vancouver Career College to gain the skills for those job openings!
A Torn Newspaper Carousel Ad Concept
A carousel version of the torn newspaper static ad, this version lays a strong emphasis on the use of numbers for positive enforcement.

Paper Cut-out Static PPC Ad Concept
This was done for Vancouver Career College's ad campaigns. Another idea that incorporates numbers to attract people by using numbers. I also played around with the concept of "Endowment Effect" where we let people imagine themselves in a graduation attire. We wanted to tell people looking to gain education that "This could be you!"
Their next action? Applying to Vancouver Career College to fulfil their dream of graduating with the skills they need to excel in their careers!
Outfit Change GIF Ad Concept
A GIF ad made for Reeves College's ad campaigns. Another idea that uses "Endowment Effect" to capture the imagination of prospective students and fuel their ambition to "choose who they want to be"

Evolution Carousel Ad Concept
This was done for Vancouver Career College's ad campaigns. The ad shows the evolutionary process of starting at one of Vancouver Career College's programs to becoming a professional in your desired field. This idea was a great fit for carousel designs and motivates people to dream big!
